What is blood? (organ, tissue, etc.)?

What is blood? (organ, tissue, etc.)?
Blood is actually a tissue with a liquid matrix. A matrix is what gives tissue is consistency.
I believe it is an organ. Tissues are the different specialized cell lines that combine to form an organ. In this case I think that red cells, white cells, clotting factors etc. would be considered tissues and they along with the plasma would collectively be an organ.
Officially its a connective tissue
