What is the highest BAC level a person can have before suffering from alcohol poisoning?
That depends on what you meen by alcohol poisoning, here are the facts:
at a BAC of .10-.15 the person is obviously intoxicated, delirium
at .24-.36: loss of consciousness
and at .48: severe coma and death
a concentration in the blood stream of 0.55% will kill half of those affected. anything above .4% can be fatal. basically if you weigh less than 150 lbs, and consume 8 drinks in an hour, theres a good chance it will kill you.
its according to a lot of things, your weight, tolerence, how fast you drank, what you drank, what food is in your stomach and what mediacations your on...i knew a girl had almost a 6 and your supposed to be edead at 4.. my friend works in a hospitol, he had a guiy in the other night with almost 5...it depends on a lot of factors.. i personally had a 2.6 and 5 seroquels in me and could walk and talk quite well.... ( and NO, i didnt try to drive.. nobody should ever drive with booze in their system.its a bad idea all around the board)
