I can't seem to get up and go. I wake up tired. I come home tired I can't do the work I need to apply for another job and appy to school. It's taking me a month to get done what I could do in a week. Help!? Any advice? What is the best remedy for sloth--incredible laziness and sleepiness?
When I read this I thought to myself- did I write this!? Anyway, I just got back from a doctor's appt.- they gave me a machine to monitor my sleep. The dr. wants to check to see if I have sleep apnea which causes daytime fatique, forgetfulness and other misc. symptoms. I kinda hope that they find something so that I can be treated for this. I just can't seem to focus on much lately accept for wanting to be in bed! So, Why don't you start off by doing a check like this.
Also, do you take vitamins, get enough sleep, eat properly? I do, but still sleepy!
First of all, you may want to see a doctor and make sure that you are healthy. It could be a sign of an underlying illness.
If you are cleared, consider a few things such as diet and exercise. Think of any major changes that maybe affecting your life. Also - are you possibly depressed? Or even seasonally depressed?
Good luck!
Hello Sugar,
Have a full medical checkup. When did you begin to feel tired? Did you fail to achieve something? This can often cause overwhelming feeling of tiredness. Go to www.dianetics.org to find a non-medical solution after you've had a checkup.
I would say that you should go to the doc. As the other poster said, it could be a sleep problem that you aren't even aware of. Also, maybe it's mononucleosis, which can make you VERY tired and lazy. If it's not a physical problem, and it's just a motivational thing, maybe making a small to-do list to finish every day, or a bigger list for the week, would help you get things done.
